We’re over a quarter of a way through the century. So why does it feel like we’re sliding back in time?

From the get go, public discourse in 2025 has felt particularly unhinged. Joe Rogan’s interview with Mark Zuckerberg went viral after the Meta CEO mourned the loss of “masculine energy” in the corporate world, following Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s equally baffling claim that “DEI [Diversity, Equity and Inclusion] is just another word for racism”.

In other words, progress hasn’t just stalled. It’s gone into reverse gear.

In a world where a handful of prominent voices control an increasingly narrow narrative – where diversity and inclusion has evolved into a ‘nice-not-to-have’ – the need to bring non-mainstream thinking into work, society and culture is more important than ever.

That’s why we’re expanding what we do: from amplifying progressive ideas, to amplifying progressive voices.

As part of our mission to bring culture-shifting projects to life, we’ve teamed up with an eclectic range of daring thinkers and doers. They are audacious people with strong and vocal opinions, each carrying a unique perspective on their field of expertise and the wider world around us.

We want to introduce you to some smart, interesting people whose stories and opinions are guaranteed to shift the conversation away from outdated tropes, harmful stereotypes and insular opinions.

Giving a platform to radical thinkers and doers. The alternative voices of the present – and the future.

Interested in this idea - or in turning up the volume on one of these alternative voices?
